Why do I get the message that no records were found when I perform a search in BioSAR Enterprise or Inventory Enterprise that should return more than 100 records?
This issue is limited to users of the OLEDB 184.108.40.206 or OLEDB 220.127.116.11 Oracle Provider. It is sue to the fetch size used by the OLEDB provider. It is not automatically readjusting to recordset size.
Because this is due to the Oracle OLEDB Provider, the problem may be resolved by applying the 18.104.22.168. patch set on both the Database server (Oracle Database) and Application Server (Oracle client).
The following workaround will work well for recordsets up to 2000 records:
- Open the udl used to connect.
- Click the All tab.
- Add an extended property FetchSize=500
