After installing ChemDraw 14.0/ChemBioDraw 14.0, when I launch ChemBioDraw it asks for Serial number and Registration code again and again.
The activation information stored in the "com.cambridgesoft.plist" file, which is present in the "Macintosh HD/Users/Shared/Library/Preferences" folder. It seems you are not having read & write privilege on the folder. Check the privilege for your account and retest after providing read & write privilege to that folder.
Please do the following to change the permission:
1. Select Go Menu in the Finder and then select "Computer"
2. Browse to the following folder (if you are not able to view the folder then you need to unhide the folder( for Mac OSX 10.9.x)
3. Then choose File > Get Info (or click Command as well as I keys in the keyboard), check the "Sharing & Permissions" section that your account name has Read and Write permission, if not assign read and write permission to your account. If necessary, click the lock icon and enter an administrator’s name and password.
