I have a large list of names that I would like to convert to structures. Is there a faster way to do this other than manually doing one at a time?

Problem:

I have a large list of names that I would like to convert to structures. Is there a faster way to do this other than manually doing one at a time?


Solution:

A batch conversion of names to structures is possible with ChemDraw (or ChemFinder for users with old versions) for Excel. Copy and paste or open the list of names in a ChemDraw for Excel spreadsheet. Highlight all of the names, then go to the ChemDraw menu in Excel and choose "Convert Name to Molecule".
