I just purchased a textbook that comes with ChemOffice Ltd 2.0. However, I cannot get it to install under Windows 95 or 98.

Problem:

I just purchased a textbook that comes with ChemOffice Ltd 2.0. However, I cannot get it to install under Windows 95 or 98.


Solution:

ChemOffice Ltd 2.0 was developed and released well before Windows 95. It is not compatible with Windows 9x. We stopped selling ChemOffice Ltd 2.0 with the release of ChemOffice Ltd version 3.1, which came out in December, 1995. Unfortunately, some publishers continue to bundle ChemOffice Ltd 2.0 with their text books. We have no control over this. However, we are providing ChemOffice Ltd 3.1 as a free update to ChemOffice Ltd 2.0 users. Please note that this version will help, but we highly recommend upgrading to the latest version of ChemOffice.
