Problem:
I have created a new user in ELN 12.1.6. When the new user attempts to search the More Options button is grayed out.
Solution:
That issue is usually due to permissions on the Search collection. Steps to fix:
- Login to ELN as an admin user.
- Browse to Everyone->Users->User Configuration->Tasks->Search
- Right click and select Collection Properties.
- Open Collection Security.
- Assign read permissions to the user that cannot search.
