Do I need Acrobat for E-Signatures?
You always need Acrobat if you have in-document signing, where your
electronic signature is embedded inside a PDF document by E-Notebook.

If you are not using in-document signing in E-Notebook 12.1.x, then E-Signatures should work with MS Office 2007/2010 and Adobe Reader, no Acrobat is required.
