Product: E-Notebook Enterprise
Question: We are installing ENotebook Client on Windows Server 2003, because we want it to be accessible over Citrix environment. The installation seems to go fine, but we do not see a shortcut on Start Programs. We can see the files installed in “C:\Program Files\CambridgeSoft\E-Notebook 12.1\bin". We tried launching ENContainer.exe from the folder and but it does not pop up a login window. All the prerequisites to run the client have been installed.
Cause: The server is being accessed via Remote Desktop Connection. Even when the credentials are for an admin user, some permissions are missing. Solution: Instead of launching Remote Desktop the usual way, do this: 1- Open Command Prompt. 2- Type: mstsc /console. Remote Desktop Connection will start. 3- Type the computer name or IP address of the computer you want to connect to in the Computer box.
