Problem:
How to turn off hardware acceleration from Chem3D outside if it crashes on startup after you enable the hardware acceleration?
Solution:
1. Open your Registry Editor and browse to the following registry location
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\PerkinElmerInformatics\Chem3D\21.0\Preference
To enable hardware acceleration the value needs to be changed to 1. To leave hardware acceleration disabled, you will need to set the value to 0.
Note: The path provided is for version 21. For any other version, please change the folder name to the version you are working with.
