How do I uninstall?
Open the Add/Remove Programs control panel, click on the name of the software program you wish to uninstall in the list of installed software that appears, and click on the Change or Remove button (the button that appears depends on your operating system). This will start the installer. Follow the instructions, and eventually you will get to a screen where you can choose the Remove option to uninstall the software. (In older versions of our software, the installer won't launch - the software will just uninstall.).
In some older versions of our software, the software may not apppear at all. Check the appropriate item in the Start menu, Programs to see if there is an uninstall option there if you are using an old version.
If you are using a more recent version of our software, and the name of the software does not appear in the Add/Remove Programs control panel:
1. Your registry is damaged or corrupted. Microsoft has a Installer CleanUp Utility that will safely remove Windows Installer settings from your computer in the event of a problem:
(If the page is no longer available on Microsoft's site, do a search for "Installer Cleanup utility" to see where they have moved the page to.) Use this to uninstall CambridgeSoft software from the registry. Once this has completed, restart the computer and try to install our software.
2. Now that we are using an MSI 1.0 based installer, like the one used by MS Office 2000, if you installed the latest version of our software under Windows NT and then upgrade to Windows 2000, this problem will occur. This is a Microsoft MSI installer problem that we have no control over. Check with Microsoft for solutions.
