Problem:
I'm trying to install, but the installer hangs and stops responding. The Task Manager shows that a file called ntvdm.dll is taking up 100 percent of the CPU.
Solution:
This is a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 problem that Microsoft acknowledges. See article Q169171 in Microsoft's Knowledge Base.
This problem occurs when the PATH statement is approximately 200 characters or more in length.
Change the installation path to something that uses less characters.
