Problem:

To start the setup, the installation instructions say to type D:\setup (where D is the cd-rom drive letter) at the Run line. I get an error message stating, "Cannot find the file 'd:\setup' or [one of its components]. Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."

Solution:

Using the Windows Explorer (or File Manager for Windows 3.x users), open the cd-rom drive. On the top level of the cd-rom, there should be an "Install" folder.

ChemDraw Pro 4.5 users: Open the Install folder and double click on the Setup.exe application to start the installation of your software.

ChemDraw Ultra 4.5 users: Inside the Install folder there should be a folder labeled "Win31" and "Win95_nt." Open the folder that applies to your operating system and double click on the Setup.exe application to start the installation of your software.
