While using one of the ChemOffice components, I get a warning message indicating that someone else is using the same serial number, yet the serial number displayed in the warning is not my serial number.
At least two other users on your local network ARE using the same serial number at the same time. The problem is that you are seeing their license violation error message, and shouldn't. We have updated a file that should correct this problem. Download the following file:
After this files downloads, double click it to unzip it. Make sure no CambridgeSoft software is running, then place the unzipped RegCodeCom8.dll in the C:\Program Files\CambridgeSoft\ChemOffice2004\Common\DLLs\ folder making sure thay you do replace the old one that is there. Just to make sure, after you have replaced the old RegCodeCom8.dll, right click on the new one and choose Properties. Click on the Version tab, and make sure the version is 22.214.171.124. Now when you launch one of the ChemOffice components, you should no longer get the incorrect license violation warning.
