Why do a see a MissingPyramidException error when attempting to view data within Columbus?
After importing Project data via the OMERO client importer, it is not possible to view the data in either the client or within the Columbus UI. On attempting to view the data in the OMERO client you receive an error 'The image could not be opened. The image is not a valid image'. If trying to open the same imported Measurement via the Columbus web interface you encounter the following error:
Columbus could not handle the request:
OMERO/Ice exception: omero::MissingPyramidException
The resolution of the imported image exceeds the upper limit (3000 x 3000) that OMERO is able to handle.
Crop the images to size before reimporting. Or if possible, reduce the resolution of the exported raw file format.
