"Object reference" error is thrown while trying to insert [Reactants] autotext into the Preparation field with Enhanced Controls in E-Notebook 13.9 on Windows 8.1 Client

When inserting insert Autotext [Reactants] into the Preparation field , the following error may appear in E-Notebook 13.9 on Windows 8.1 Client:

CAUSE:

The root cause of the issue is related to CALIBRI Regular font in Windows 8.1 missing from the "C:\Windows\Fonts\" folder.



SOLUTION:

You should be able to find the files in the "C:\Windows\WinSxS\" folder. Open that folder in File Explorer and type 'calibri' in the search box at the top right. It should find all of the original calibri*.ttf files from your Windows 8.1 installation. Copy those files into the "C:\Windows\Fonts\" folder.
